On 28-29.08.2015 Pavel Niakhayeu (Pavel Ambiont / Nieviadomy Artyst) will tell about the Belarusian techno / electro scene at the ‘Taste The East 2015’ music conference Białystok, Poland. The event hosts a huge array techno artists and activists from the Eastern / Central / Western Europe.
Besides the presentation, Pavel will play two livesets: techdub grooves @ Klub Metro on Friday, 28th and an electro / techno set @ Boiler Room session on Saturday 29th.
Taste The East is a venture associated with The Rise of The Eastern Culture Festival, Up To Date Festival and the Technosoul label and has been taking place since 2013.
From the very start, the project has been aimed at developing the cooperation between Polish and other central and eastern electronic music scenes. Initially, it took form of annual music events, combining line-ups both from the eastern and western neighbouring countries, as well including legendary artists like Egyptian Lover or Vatican Shadow. The experience gained while organizing the festival and attending numerous events throughout Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Belarus, and Lithuania resulted in the exploration of areas of our mutual interests.
Now is the time to open a discussion on the development of the cooperation. That is why this year’s edition focuses not only on presentation, but also on interaction between promoters, journalists, artists, or any other form of participation in electronic music scene. It will take form of a two-day conference with proper night events after each day of the gathering. The entry to all the events is free.
